Jun Zhang is a Ph.D. student in the Social Science Program at the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University. Jun adopts an interdisciplinary approach, with her research focusing on the media image of nonprofit organizations, especially business-like nonprofits. She uses computational social science methods to examine whether business-like topics and narratives are more popular with audiences in media content related to nonprofits. Her research explores how audience preferences change over time and vary across different issues.
